A tool that enables you too see who is visiting which pages. It also can give you reports on these findings, so that you have a competitive edge.

Compete's services are based upon the online activity of more than two million (and growing!) community members who have opted to share information like the web pages they visit and their attitudes and preferences about products and services they own and use. We analyze this information every day to create valuable member services, like Site Analytics and the Compete Toolbar, and also insightful research for marketers. Our services increase in value as more people join Compete, so we always strive to find new and interesting ways for people to participate as members.

In 1998, Bill Gross, a serial entrepreneur started a revolutionary new search engine called GoTo. GoTo became Overture, created the business of paid search, and was acquired by Yahoo. Google quickly adopted the paid search model, grew to become the largest search engine on the web and now stands side-by-side with Yahoo as one of the most prominent Internet properties in the world.

Bill also had another big idea... In 2000, he created Compete.com to organize the clicks we all make on the web. The vision was simple: if we all share our clicks, then each of us gets smarter by knowing what's happening across the web.
